What if tomorrow everything changes?

What if tomorrow everything changes?

I want you to close your eyes for just a moment and imagine what it would be like if you wake up tomorrow and the world as you know it has changed. What exactly would you do to survive?

How much food do you really have on hand? What are you going to do when that food is gone?

Sure it would be great if you have some food stockpiled, but what about when that is gone?

I know you are busy, and may not have time to start a garden but what about planting some fruit trees?

Why not plant a few trees now in preparation for the future?

  • Apple trees
  • Peach Trees
  • Cherry Tree
  • Plum Tree
  • Pear Tree
  • Orange Tree
  • Mango Tree
  • Lemon Tree

If you do have time to plant a garden, consider things like potatoes and carrots. Maybe during the winter grow some squash or pumpkins.

A lot of people suggest growing onions because they are easy to care for and have great long-term storage capabilities. But can you live off of an onion? No. While great to cook with, in reality, you need to think about growing food that you can eat to survive on.

While you can pull an orange off of your tree and eat it to survive. You can’t survive off of eating garlic. So while great to have as a food supplement, you need to think about the here and now. What can you grow to eat to make it until tomorrow?

THINK SIMPLE. Don’t go overboard.

If you make things too complicated you aren’t likely to stick with it.
